The park is the ideal base for trips to the coast with miles of award winning beaches, the towns of Withernsea and Hornsea and the historic surroundings of Hedon.

Also within easy travelling distance to the park is the unique natural splendour of Spurn Point Bird Sanctuary, military museum Fort Paull, the city of Hull – home to the Deep, a bustling Marina and the KC Stadium – and the historic, lively town of Beverley.

Nearby is the majestic Burton Constable Hall, a stately building housing some rare and beautiful artwork. There are peaceful walks in the parkland and colourful lakes to enjoy. Hedon is another market town not too far from Patrington. The town is dominated by a huge church known as the “King of Holderness” Market day is on a Wednesday and enjoyed by the locals and visitors, there is plenty of parking too.
